  Attended my first mass here today. Very nice side chapel with the virgin la caridad de la cobre (Cuban Virgin Mary-equivalent deity) and as a child of Mother Cuba I'm sent, to see our flag and our Virgin represented in-house.

  Noah's ark was a type of Mary. As, by its means, human beings were preserved from the Flood, so are we all saved by Mary from the shipwreck of sin. There is this difference, however. In the ark few were saved, but through Mary the whole human race was rescued from death.
